Horizon North Housing Incorporated (H.N.H.I.) was established in 2004 and includes ten apartment units for adult women with developmental disabilities, and their children. The goal of the program is to provide comprehensive services to families with more intensive and long-term needs than typical transitional housing programs provide. H.N.H.I. also provides on-site support that can often assist consumers in avoiding potential life crises. These on-site supports are provided in many areas such as identifying and accessing community resources, learning to make healthy choices, budgeting assistance and more.
